On Friday, December 6, 2004, HER and Goodman co-organized the first half-day activity workshop for Goodman employees to learn more about home appliances knowhow and tips. Twelve Goodman colleagues signed up to participate. The event was coordinated by Kenneth Lam of Goodman, and the instructors included Master Edward Cha of HER and Eddie Chan of ENEEF. Explain electrical safety, energy saving and electrical appliance maintenance tips, small appliance repair demonstrations, etc. The participants quickly learned to do it themselves, trying to clean and renovate electrical appliances, and how to complete the conversion of electric heads. The event finally ended successfully. Kenneth said that their colleagues were still wanted more and hoped to have more time to interact and contribute more next time!

On 17 August 2024, HER participated the event "ReGarDen" at Yip Wong Estate in Tuen Mun together with ENEEF, Hong Kong Lutheran Social Service, ALBA and ZenWood Digital Technology.
In recent years, environmental issues have attracted more and more attention. Although sorting and recycling is the easiest way for the public to participate in environmental protection, in fact, "reuse" is also an important part, and can even achieve a greater degree of waste reduction than sorting and recycling.

On July 18, 2024, Billy Yeung, founder of HER and Peter Pang, HER Ambassador joined Rotary Club of Hong Kong Elements Dinner Event to share with them how HER makes every appliance count by repairing and redistributing to the needed families in Hong Kong. It helps reducing wastage, bestow the 2nd life on home electronic appliances and transform waste into various valuable resources.

On May 28, 2024, HER participated in an electrical appliance recycling event jointly organized by ENEEF and Remembrance of Grace Community Service Centre. In addition to recycling home appliances, we also shared household electrical safety knowledge with participants through safe electricity use tutorial. Some participants expressed interest in further learning professional knowledge and hoped to contribute to giving home appliances a second life.
There were 15 participants in total. About 12 small household appliances were recovered during the event for future donation.

On 18 May 2024, HER donated more than 30 electronic appliances to Cheung Sha Wan Catholic Secondary School for the activity of Making Miracles 2024. These appliances were successfully distributed to grassroots families on the day, significantly bringing relief to their household chores and improving their quality of life. The event would not have been possible without the tireless support of both parties. From the happy faces of those family members, we once again had been fueled with confidence in continuing our involvement in community service in Sham Shui Po District.

On 11 May 2024, teacher Mr. Chin and over 40 students from Cheung Sha Wan Catholic Secondary School visited HER workshop and ENEEF Camp Site in Sheung Shui again. They not only visited our HER workshop, attended a Planting workshop, but also brought back SEAs for donations to those families in need in Sham Shui Po district.

On 30 April 2024, our technical director, Mr. Edward Cha, represented HER and conducted an online seminar together with Green @ Kwai Tsing and the Environmental Protection Department to share his knowledge on household electronic maintenance. More than 20 neighbourhoods joined the seminar to learn how to extend the life of their small electronic appliances at home with the simple tips delivered by Mr. Edward Cha.

On 23 April 2024, Ma Kam Ming Secondary School in Fanling having about 20 junior high school students joined a workshop in the activity room of our Sheung Shui Education Centre organized by ENEEF and HER. The students learned about "Sustainable Life Style", and experienced the importance of maintenance and repair of small electronic appliances in a low-carbon society. Mr. Cha and Felix represented HER, joinly with Eddie of ENEEF and several other colleagues as assistants to conduct this type of Green STEAM project.

On April 10, 2024, two HKU professors Dr Leung and Dr Chin visited HER workshop in Sheung Shui. We are pleased to be selected as “Client” to HKU's BCP Program this year. A team of 5 students will participate as student Consultant role to HER Group in June, for 4 weeks, full time base to learn hands-on experience in solving "real-life" problems.

On April 9, 2024, HER team was invited by Crossroads to visit Crossroads Village in Gold Coast, Tuen Mun to explore the potential partnership
