18 Jun 2025 HER x CSWCSS

Event Background & Collaboration Synergy :

【 NGO Background】

On 18 June 2025, 13 students actively took part in a skill-based workshop led by our technical director, focusing on the repair of electronic appliances. Through a combination of demonstrations and hands-on practice, participants learned about diagnosing common faults, using replacement parts, and sustainable repair techniques. The workshop not only provided technical know-how but also stressed the importance of reducing electronic waste as part of everyday environmental responsibility. Students left the session inspired to apply these practical skills in their daily lives and communities. #YouthForSustainability #EcoEducation

Event Outcome 活動結果:

🌟【協同效益 Collaboration Synergy】🌟

By fostering close cooperation between local schools, environmental NGOs, and the wider community, this initiative created a powerful network for sharing resources, knowledge, and support. Partners collaborated at every stage, from organizing logistics to recruiting participants, which optimized impact and reach. #CommunityPartnership

Students’ direct involvement empowered them to serve as both learners and agents of change. Through volunteering, they connected with real-world issues, deepened their resolve to support environmental causes, and cultivated leadership and teamwork abilities that extend beyond the classroom. #ServeToInspire #GreenLeaders

HER took the lead in coordinating volunteer training, ensuring that each participant developed relevant skills tailored to the needs of service recipients, such as elderly community members or low-income families. This targeted approach amplified the benefits for both volunteers and those they served, fostering meaningful interactions and greater social good. #ImpactfulVolunteering

EEEF played a vital role as a facilitator, bridging stakeholders, identifying resource needs, and enabling efficient sharing of tools, venues, and expertise. Their effective matchmaking between demands and supplies made it possible to scale up the program and maximize its effectiveness. #CollaborationMatters

🌟【Event Highlights Part 2】🌟

The workshop was a clear demonstration of “leveraging individual strengths and complementing each other's shortcomings.” Students, volunteers, and the broader community each gained unique learning experiences—students mastered new skills, volunteers found a greater sense of purpose, and the community benefited from practical environmental solutions. By coming together, all parties grew stronger and more connected in the pursuit of sustainable development. #BetterTogether #SustainableFuture
