Building upon their past successful collaborations, HER and CSWCSS joined forces once again to host the "Pass on the Green Spark" event, which concluded with great success on July 2, 2026!
The workshop received enthusiastic support and active participation from CSWCSS students. Stepping into the shoes of "Appliance Doctors," these students took concrete actions to embrace eco-friendly practices and breathe new life into discarded electrical appliances. This joint initiative aimed to share professional technical insights, elevate environmental and waste-reduction awareness among secondary students, and guide them in transforming theoretical STEM knowledge into sustainable solutions for the local community. 🌱💡

The first half of the event kicked off with two professional seminars that were both highly practical and inspiring. 📣 First, the expert team from HER delivered the "Electrical Safety Seminar" ⚡, explaining daily household electricity safety codes and potential hazards in an accessible manner. This was followed by the "Appliance Maintenance and Care Tips" session, 📖 which equipped students with practical skills to extend the lifespan of electronic products and trained them in the logical thinking required for accurate troubleshooting. 🔍

With a solid theoretical foundation in place, the event reached its climax. 🔥 The Technical Director took the stage to demonstrate, step by step, how to inspect, dismantle, and successfully repair a malfunctioning electric fan. The CSWCSS students were completely captivated 👀✨, meticulously absorbing every critical repair detail and technique. ✍️
💪 【Hands-on Challenge: 11 Students Successfully Revive 3 Discarded Fans】
During the subsequent practical session, 11 CSWCSS students demonstrated outstanding teamwork and logical problem-solving skills. Divided into three groups, they applied their newly acquired knowledge to tackle the challenge of restoring broken, discarded electric fans. Drawing upon their electrical concepts and referencing the director's demonstration, the students systematically identified the root causes—ranging from external inspections and circuit diagnostics to component replacements. Ultimately, through their dedication and the mentors' patient guidance, all three groups overcame the technical hurdles, successfully bringing three defunct electric fans back to life!
